I’m Nicole Albarelli; an American born, London based filmmaker and mother of two boys.
I was inspired to write this book after a seemingly typical school drop off. My 8-year-old son, Dylan, turned to me and sheepishly asked,
“Mum, do I have issues?”
My response was immediate.
“Everyone has issues. That’s what keeps life interesting.”
I am the illustrator that helped bring this incredible book to life.
After suffering from depression in 2013, I returned to my childhood love of illustration and created The Grumble & Co, a greetings card and homeware brand. I am now a full-time children’s book illustrator living in Cheshire with my husband, Ross.
As soon as I read the script for this magical book, I knew I had to be a part of it!
